You may have noticed, I do things a little differently. I created this diagram to illustrate the way I help my clients.
The Body Mind Align way is a customized experience to bring homeostasis to all areas of your life, laying fertile ground for your embodied health to emerge. 🪴
The mind-body connection is well-documented and it’s this philosophy and accumulation of research that I base all of my work. Maybe you’ve experienced it for yourself - if something has been feeling off in your mind state (you’re overly stressed, burnt out, stuck) chances are there’s something in your physical health that is off too. Conversely, your physical state will shift as a result of what you’re feeding your mind. If stress and tension is reflexive for you, you may have experienced improvement then backslides. HOWEVER, if you can train yourself to operate from a relaxed, open, and easeful place even amidst changes, then your body is free to explore a different experience (likely a better one).
When you are stressed and tense this leads to = increased physiological aggravation, increased symptoms
When you are relaxed, mindful, & open to change this leads to = less physiological aggravation, fewer symptoms
When we put the right foundational supports in place, lowering inflammation and returning balance to the body, when we challenge outlived thought processes, and develop habits to regulate the nervous system, everything begins shifting into alignment. 🧬
